PROGRAM:
SYMANTEC ON "TODAY'S SECURITY & PERFORMANCE"

Dave Cole, Senior Director, Norton by Symantec, the makers of Norton Antivirus, and Robert Reynolds, Senior Product Manager for Norton, will co-present on today's threat landscape, what Norton is doing to stay one step ahead and Performance improvements. The audience will learn:

 -  What's New: Today's Threat Landscape 
 -  How Norton Daily Combats the Latest Threats
-   Security Performance Improvements
-   Q&A

 Cole will be discussing today’s latest threats, as well as how to stay secure, without sacrificing system speed. Cole is a recognized security expert, has appeared on TV and radio programs, is a featured speaker at security conferences (Black Hat etc.) and co-author. Robert Reynolds, Senior Product Manager for Norton by Symantec, will be discussing; what's new and PC performance tune-up tools. Afterward, they will open up the presentation for questions and nswers regarding Internet security and performance.

Due to scheduling conflicts at Placentia Library, three meetings in 2008 have been scheduled for dates that are not our usual meeting nights. The months with changed meeting dates are: April 1 and June 17. Meeting dates for the other months will still be on the second Tuesday of the month.

Meeting date/time: Meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month. Random Access begins at 6:30 p.m.; programs usually begin between 7 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. Including breaks and a raffle, meetings end around 9 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
